Catalog description

Students conduct research under the direction of a faculty mentor. The general topic and specific goals and activities are agreed upon by the student and the mentor. The number of credits is proportional to the time committed to the research, with 32-48 hours of work per semester per credit hour expected. Students should make arrangements with a supervising faculty member before registering for this course. This course can be repeated up to six times, or for a maximum six credits, whichever limit is hit first.
