Students discover how scientists and engineers use their education and expertise in different subjects to contribute to our continued quality of life, drive innovation, shape our economy, support national security, and ensure a sustainable future. Students will encounter diverse careers for engineers, scientists, and professionals in the industries that provide energy and materials to our society. The course features a series of field expeditions and travel experiences, networking with industry professionals, and experiential learning to acquire fundamental skills relevant to their majors.
