Catalog description

Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio Development is a one-credit course in which students will develop one or more Prior Learning Portfolios. A Prior Learning Portfolio is a collection of materials, reflections, and/or artifacts that a student will compile to demonstrate their previous non-academic experience and knowledge that is relevant to a specific course. Each portfolio component plays a role in demonstrating mastery of course objectives. This course can be repeated up to two times.
