Catalog description

Engineering Dynamics introduces the vector analysis of bodies in motion (kinematics) and the forces causing that motion (kinetics). The primary focus is on vector analysis for both particles and rigid bodies in 2-D and 3-D systems. You'll master the three fundamental methods of kinetic analysis-Newton's Second Law, the Work-Energy principle, and Impulse-Momentum-applied across various coordinate systems. Upon completion, you'll be able to analyze, model, and predict the motion of any particle or rigid body under the influence of forces. Prerequisites: ENGR 201 and MATH 165 .
