Catalog description

This introductory course provides students with the fundamental principles and practices of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Students will learn the necessary skills to create, modify, and interpret 2D drawings and 3D solid models of engineering components and assemblies. The course emphasizes visualization, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, proper drawing standards, and effective digital file management, serving as a foundation for advanced design and analysis software applications. Upon completion, you'll be able to create, document, and communicate technical designs effectively using industry-standard CAD software. Prerequisite: ENGR 201 .
