Catalog description

This course focuses on the identification of children with literacy difficulties, including dyslexia, assessment of specific areas related to these difficulties, and appropriate interventions in the areas of the five components of reading (phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension) as well as written expression. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education and ELED 352 .
