Audiology Practicum.

Catalog description

This practicum course will provide the undergraduate student in Communication Sciences and Disorders, who has an interest in Audiology, the opportunity to participate in Audiology diagnostics in the CSD clinic. The student will initially observe the audiologic diagnostic/patient management protocols in the clinic and will gradually be required to participate in greater measure. The goal is for the student to acquire greater understanding of audiologic test administration, interpretation, and patient counseling. This course can be repeated up to four times, or for a maximum four credits, whichever limit is hit first. Prerequisite: CSD 342 .
