Catalog description

This course explores the methodologies used in the development and deployment of firewalls, anomaly, and signature-based detection systems and virtual honeypots. Secure software development techniques will be covered as will practical exercises in how to analyze and defend against network-based attacks. Prerequisite: CSCI 340 or CIS 244 with a C or higher.
