Catalog description
This course provides an opportunity for students to carry out an independent research project in their area of interest within the field of criminology and criminal justice. The students will practically design their own research project in consultation with the instructor and implement appropriate research method under the guidance and supervision of the instructor. The overall purpose of the course is to help students to gain practical experience of identifying a research problem, designing a research project accordingly, and carrying out this project. The students will, eventually, be expected to report the results of this project as a publication and an oral presentation to a group of audience. This course can be repeated up to sixteen times, or for a maximum sixteen credits, whichever limit is hit first.
