This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles of networking, providing students with essential knowledge and practical skills needed for entry-level IT roles. Topics include network architectures, devices, protocols, addressing, configuration, troubleshooting, and basic network security practices. Through hands-on labs and exercises, students will gain experience in setting up and managing networks across various platforms. The course culminates in a capstone project where students demonstrate their proficiency with the concepts and skills covered throughout the course. Students will have the opportunity to earn the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) certification in networking at the conclusion of the course.
