Catalog description
A study of methods for chemical analysis and quality assurance/quality control of industrial products and processes. Methods studied will include spectroscopy, gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectroscopy, and metal analysis. Aspects of quality assurance, calibration, and method validation will also be discussed and applied. Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 4 hours. Prerequisites: CHEM 330 . CHEM 430 recommended.
