Clinical Practicum II

Catalog description

Students continue a series of rotations including 18 different clinical areas at the Mayo Medical Center. Those areas include 9 intensive care units, the operating room, emergency room, general floor care areas, pulmonary function labs, sleep disorders center, smoking cessation clinic, pulmonary rehabilitation program, home care, and an outpatient clinic. Learners practice and master skills using simulation-based medical education. Students expand their competencies in adult as well as perinatal and pediatric critical respiratory care. prereq: 3301
