Examines abortion and abortion law as philosophical issues through both applied ethics and applied political philosophy. Topics may include arguments for and against abortion's moral permissibility, arguments for and against abortion's legality, feminist perspectives on the intersection of ethics and politics with respect to abortion, and the impact of current abortion law on professional responsibility and professional ethics. prereq: 1441
