First-Year Seminar II

Catalog description

This seminar is designed to support the retention and success of first-year MSOE students and transfers through culturally centered learning experiences and activities that enhance academic and social integration to MSOE. The framework for instruction is based on the Council for the Advancement of Standards of Higher Education’s Learning and Development Domains and Outcomes (2020) . It builds on First-Year Seminar I, with an emphasis on practical competence: self-care and well-being.
