Catalog description

This course is designed to show the application of psychological aspects of managerial processes such as motivation, group processes, leadership, conflict resolution, working conditions, organizational structure, and their influences on job satisfaction. Basic research methodology principles are discussed to help students become critical thinkers and to understand potential biases in research. Current trends and issues such as pandemics, downsizing, unemployment, and diversity are emphasized throughout the course. Emphasis is given not only to the theoretical context, but the practical consequences of psychology.
