Emphasis will be placed on the role of America in the world, but close attention will also be paid to the ways in which US actions are perceived by others around the globe. Topics to be covered include US foreign policy, national security, the rise of the developing world, economic globalization, war (both hot and cold), terrorism, and global public health.
