Catalog description

This course reviews and introduces some of the mathematical tools and techniques most widely used in business. Topics include rational expressions, exponents, functions and graphs, systems of linear equations and inequalities, linear programming, sets, counting techniques, and probability. The emphasis is on creating mathematical models of practical situations and applying these models to solve problems.
