Statics and Mechanics of Materials

Catalog description

This course is intended for non-ME majors and covers important topics in statics and mechanics of materials. The topics covered includes vectors, equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies, forces in trusses and frames, stresses in axially loaded members, circular bars, and beams, principal stresses, and deflection of beams.
