Catalog description

In this course students will gain confidence in their job search, including finding internship opportunities, meeting and communicating with employers, effectively articulating their skills and experience on a resume, online profiles, and in an interview, as well as better understanding employer hiring practices and expectations of them as candidates. Students will understand how to ethically manage multiple, simultaneous interviews and job offers, as well as negotiate industry standard internship wages and full-time job salaries. Students will become more aware of the diverse benefits Career Services offers and the value of utilizing Career Services throughout their MSOE tenure.
