Catalog description

This is the first of two introductory courses that invite students to explore four distinct health-related professions: Global Health, Public Health, Precision Medicine, and Clinical and Translational Science. Students will gain foundational knowledge of each profession’s scope of practice, core responsibilities, and real-world applications in diverse care settings. Students will begin to explore the essential virtues of the Flourishing Framework, including the essential concepts of caring, character, and practical wisdom, and how these values shape ethical, compassionate, and effective health professionals.
