Catalog description

This course introduces object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to students who have experience in structured programming techniques. Particular emphasis is placed on the design and implementation of computer programs to solve problems encountered in engineering practice. Topics include an introduction to object-oriented programming concepts, user-defined classes, abstraction techniques, operator overloading, inheritance, polymorphism, various data structures, and basic searching and sorting algorithms.
