Catalog description

This course provides career guidance to electrical engineering students. The course serves to prepare students for professional issues and for entry into a professional career following graduation. Guest speakers from several major electrical engineering areas and disciplines help provide insight into industrial careers. Students learn about graduate school opportunities and the mechanics for applying to graduate school. Ethical issues and professional responsibilities are discussed. Students update their resume, do research on a company in which they are interested and submit their resume with an appropriate cover letter seeking employment.
