Catalog description

This course emphasizes the fundamental concepts underlying information-bearing signals and the systems that process those signals. Signals and systems will be modeled using common mathematical functions. System outputs will be determined using time- and frequency-domain techniques. Fourier techniques will be utilized for the analysis and synthesis of signals. Examples of multistage systems such as communication and sampling systems will be introduced and examined. MATLAB will be used for modeling and simulating signals and systems.
