Exploring Engineering

Catalog description

Students will learn about the different disciplines of engineering and related fields through lectures, discussions, research, hands-on activities, and interacting with MSOE community members working in the disciplines. Students will engage in student-centered active-learning exercises focused on career exploration and student success. Students will decide which fields might be a great match for them and work with an advisor to create a course plan for further exploration in their majors of interest. Students will choose in-major courses to enroll in for the following term.
