Cybersecurity Systems Capstone II

Catalog description

This is the second course in the senior design sequence, where students collaborate in teams to complete a substantial, real-world cybersecurity project. Each team is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, documenting, and testing a secure system or application that addresses a meaningful cybersecurity challenge. Emphasis is placed on applying secure software engineering practices, threat modeling, risk assessment, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Teams meet regularly with faculty mentors to review technical progress, manage project risks, and ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and stakeholder requirements.
