Cybersecurity Systems Capstone I

Catalog description

This is the first course in the senior design sequence, where students form teams to initiate a substantial cybersecurity-focused project. Emphasis is placed on project planning, requirements gathering, secure system design, and risk assessment. Student teams define project goals, develop user stories, conduct threat modeling, and evaluate relevant legal, ethical, and technical constraints. Teams meet regularly with faculty mentors to review progress, refine their designs, and begin implementation.
