Solid Waste Engineering and Design

Catalog description

Integrated solid waste management systems of the 21st century must address several interrelated issues, including source reduction, recycling and reuse, waste collection and transportation, and the disposal of wastes not otherwise recycled or reused. This course addresses the design of systems for the collection, transport, storage, and disposal of solid wastes with a focus on municipal solid waste (MSW).
