Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Catalog description

This course covers fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis applied to civil, transportation, and environmental engineering problems. Students learn core GIS concepts and develop practical skills in spatial data management, analysis, and visualization. Upon completion, students will be competent GIS users able to apply the technology to civil engineering applications.
