Catalog description

This course provides a study of information security consisting of the need for security, principles of security systems, classes of vulnerabilities, and the principles of cryptography. Cryptography topics are covered in depth, including hashes, secret key, and public key approaches. The impact of quantum computing on cryptography will also be covered.
