Catalog description
This course integrates advanced construction project planning, estimating, scheduling, and contract administration into a comprehensive project execution framework. Students apply construction management principles to a real project site and contract documents to develop a complete project manual including detailed estimates, resource-loaded schedules, safety plans, quality plans, and change management procedures. Emphasis is placed on value-driven decision-making, risk mitigation, lean implementation, and ethical leadership. Through applied laboratory exercises, students synthesize technical, financial, and operational considerations to optimize project performance in preparation for capstone-level project delivery.
