Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to understand the basics of communication skills in professional settings, to develop effective presentation skills, to learn to incorporate graphics into presentations, to support colleagues and collaborators as an audience member, and to appreciate the role of the team in preparing a formal presentation. The assignments reflect experiences that will be encountered by graduates in their careers. Typical assignments include group presentations, presentation graphics, and presentation reviews.
