Catalog description

This course emphasizes writing as a process, from planning and drafting through revising and editing. Using personal experience, assigned readings, and other sources, students write unified, coherent, and well-developed pieces of writing. They practice paraphrasing, summarizing, responding to, and synthesizing sources.
