Bio Process Control

Catalog description

The course provides training on industrial bio process control. It brings together the knowledge acquired in other chemical and biomolecular engineering courses and applies it to control bioprocesses. Process control hardware and troubleshooting, dynamic modeling, controller tuning, and control of processes is covered in detail. P, PI, and PID controllers are analyzed and advanced control strategies are discussed. Tuning of PID controllers is performed and simulated.
