Sophomore Seminar

Catalog description

As the first in a series of two CBE seminar courses, this sophomore CBE seminar course highlights exciting new areas being advanced by biomolecular engineers and other relevant topics. One of the goals of the course is to assist students in acquiring skills such as critical thinking, communication, public speaking and participation in discussion of controversial ideas. Students attend the seminar, engage in related reading and participate in pre- and post-seminar discussions facilitated by the course instructor(s). Attendance is required.
