Inspired by recent advances in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and other fields; academic and industrial organizations are looking into AI-based solutions for construction processes such as design optimization, scheduling, documentation, safety, and project monitoring. This course presents a comprehensive introduction to the principles of AI with a particular focus on the field of construction. The course is centered around several main AI topics covering the notion of machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL).
