Catalog description

This course provides a working knowledge of the principles for writing effective specifications for building systems and materials, as well as interpreting standard construction industry contracts. Students will learn the formatting and writing requirements for specifications used in the construction industry, utilizing the CSI MasterFormat. Students will also review standard contracts such as AIA and EJCDC common form contracts.
