Catalog description

This interactive, team-based course introduces the architectural engineering, construction management, and civil engineering students to their field of study. Students work in multidisciplinary teams to provide a solution to a realistic, semester-long design and construction problem. The students learn the basics of design, construction and constructability, site development, project management, sustainability, ethics, professional practice, and lifelong learning. The course culminates in a final team presentation to a panel of jurors.
