Catalog description

This course introduces students to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and their critical role in business process integration and operations systems management (OSM). Through hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, students will explore the foundational structure of ERP systems, analyze real-world business cases, and simulate operations in a virtual marketplace of suppliers, customers, and service providers. Students will also be trained in ethical AI usage, guided prompting techniques, and verification habits to ensure responsible and effective learning. Applied AI Integration: This course meets or exceeds MSOE’s Applied AI Integration guidelines for sufficient coverage of Foundational Knowledge and Social Responsibility.
