Catalog description

This course investigates methods of obtaining, preserving, and increasing personal assets. Students will be exposed to techniques and strategies to develop an understanding of how to become financially responsible and to make intelligent financial decisions. Students will design personal and household budgets, simulate to use of a brokerage investment account, demonstrate knowledge of finance, debt, credit management, insurance, and taxes. The course will provide a foundational understanding for making informed personal financial decisions.
