Catalog description

This course introduces business students to web design and development using XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Students will build interactive, cross-browser websites with validated forms, graphics, animations, and basic database integration using MySQL. Topics include mobile app fundamentals, image optimization, and site analytics for marketing. By course end, students will create a fully functional, responsive website tailored to business needs. Applied AI Integration: This course meets or exceeds MSOE’s Applied AI Integration guidelines for sufficient coverage of Foundational Knowledge.
