Intermediate Accounting I

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth exposure to the conceptual framework of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) and International Financial Reporting Standards for the preparation and understanding of financial information. Students will focus on the measurement, recognition, and presentation of transactions, with emphasis on the basic financial statements, revenue recognition, and a range of other contemporary topics in financial reporting.
