Catalog description

This course introduces the field of business analytics including using analysis to support data driven decision making to improve business performance. Through the application of a standard analysis process, students will gain hands-on experience applying statistical and visualization techniques along with exploratory and predictive analytic models to business case studies. Through case studies, students will identify, apply, and interpret appropriate analytic modeling techniques. Applied AI Integration: This course meets or exceeds MSOE’s Applied AI Integration guidelines for substantial coverage of Practical Application and for sufficient coverage of Critical Evaluation and Social Responsibility.
