Catalog description

This course introduces students to the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) in today’s data-driven and digitally automated environments. Designed for future-ready professionals, the course explores how emerging technologies are transforming business operations, manufacturing, and decision-making. Students will experience hands-on Technology such as additive manufacturing, introduction to, generative AI, agent AI, and machine learning. This course will also expose students to ethics and cybersecurity in a digital world. Applied AI Integration: This course meets or exceeds MSOE’s Applied AI Integration guidelines for substantial coverage of Foundational Knowledge and Practical Application and for sufficient coverage of Critical Evaluation and Social Responsibility.
