Catalog description

This course provides a general overview of art history in the Western world from the age of Classical Greece to the present. The course will cover the technical terminology used to evaluate art and will examine the major periods of art history including Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Romantic, Modern, and Post-Modern and significant stylistic schools such as Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Cubism, Fauvism, Expressionism, and Abstract Expressionism the Western world.
