Actuarial Science Senior Capstone Project

Catalog description

Students, working in teams of two to four, propose a project or select one of the projects offered by the faculty advisor of the course. The purpose of the project is to apply the knowledge that they have learned through the Actuarial Science program courses to a case study. Students will meet regularly with their faculty advisor to report their progress. At the end of the course, the students present their final project either at a professional meeting or to their peers and department faculty at the end of the semester both orally and in a written report.
