Intermediate Non-Linear Video Editing

Catalog description

This course will focus on intermediate techniques in editing video footage in a non-linear world and adapting that output for multiversioned purposes. Students will learn a new NLE platform and more advanced digital editing techniques and skills. Integration of Milwaukee PBS station facilities, using Avid Media Composer, Mass and shared storage systems, Media Access Management and remote offline editing via Avid Media Central, plus preparing and outputting finished sequences for delivery, will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): Complete TV-112.
