Catalog description

Students are introduced to editing concepts and techniques and are taught to assess and assemble visual sequences into completed segments. Lectures provide editing theory, methodology and terms to frame the concepts behind the editing process. In-class training includes network data asset management, ingesting, meta-tagging, software tools and applications of editing techniques. Projects focus on continuity- based editing, sound design, basic color correction, keyframing, and an a-roll and b-roll feature piece. Prerequisite(s): Completion of or currently enrolled in TV-105.
