Catalog description

Introduces therapeutic procedures including arterial puncture, bronchial hygiene, lung expansion therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on promotion of evidence- RADT – RLEST DEGREE/DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS based practice using established clinical practice guidelines and published research for its relevance to patient care. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the Respiratory Therapy program (10-515-1). Completion of or currently enrolled in RESPC-171.
