Low Pressure Boilers

Catalog description

This course covers the basic operation of low pressure boilers and prepares the student for a Facilities Operating license 3rd Class (low pressure boiler licenses up to 15 psi.). Curriculum includes boiler systems — fuel, draft, steam and feedwater. Absorption chillers, hot water boiler systems and operating procedures are covered. Licensing agency is the American Society of Power Engineers.
