Basic math computations are reviewed, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals. The course covers specific areas of the avoirdupois, apothecary and metric systems of measurement used in dosage calculations. Formulas and methods used in the preparation of pharmaceutical products are presented.
